One of the works of Inside Jharkhand involves providing quality health facility to Dailt & Tribal . Inside Jharkhand believes that to combat the adverse situation of the poor and vulnerable groups, there is need for an integrated approach to work on health, nutrition, sanitation and hygiene. Inside Jharkhand has worked on spreading awareness among the Dalit & Tribal people towards their health issues. Inside Jharkhand conducts programmes  to assist the Government through the establishment of an effective mechanism in a decentralized manner.

Inside Jharkahnd strives to  educate Dalit & Tribals living in villages about  the significance of conservation of water, use of safe drinking water, significance of practicing good personal and community hygiene by conducting several activities like community mobilization, awareness campaign against diarrhea and malaria, harvesting of rain water, promotion of Bora Bandh through community participation, spreading awareness towards the importance of hand washing along with rendering services in toilet construction, plantation among the Frontline workers.

Inside Jharkhand deals with the problem of mal-nutrition among Dalit & Tribals through various  projects such as Mishtaan while streamlining the existing structure of Anganwadi Centers by providing training to the workers and awareness generation through various activities like facilitation of community bodies, promotion of nutritional garden at school, Anganwadi centers and individual levels. Under the Mishtaan project the Block Operational Plan (BOP) has been conceived as an initiative to focus on strategic inputs and new activities meant to catalyze and improve the delivery of government programmes and schemes which have role in ensuring nutrition security in a block.
